Here's my professional truth...
I am on a mission to coach fabulous women like you who are ready to shake things up and claim their spot at the decision-making table. If you weren’t feeling this just a second ago, congratulations, you’ve found the right place—think of it as your VIP pass! To name a few of my accolades, San Diego Business Journal has named me as one of the Top 50 Black Influential Leaders for 2025. I stand proud as a conscious thought-leader, an award-winning mentor and nonprofit founder, a prolific author, strategic community leader, and renowned transformational speaker. My roles on the Advisory Board for the Women in Leadership Program for Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles and the Chair of the Women in the NAACP Committee further cements my commitment to transforming the lives of women, proving that I’m not just about talk; I’m about impactful action and real results.
I will never apologize for teaching women that leading must happen from overflow and not from a deficit. Self care is a non-negotiable and should be practiced often and with intention. Changing the narrative around what we deserve begins with decisive action--even if if it makes you a little afraid--because the end result will benefit you and those under your care and leadership. Despite the persistent mindset that women should always sacrifice their own self-interest for others, I am helping tons of women make a new plan, and they are thriving as never before which benefits those in their care.

And that’s the part that makes me the most proud; the lives that are impacted. I know this work is so much deeper than just a profession, and in my heart, I’ve always known that I’m here to be a "midwife" of unfulfilled potential. I believe the leadership you are gifted to contribute to the world is your birthright. I want to be the collaborative supporter that coaches you to build it with vision and purpose as your foundation.

I always wanted to be an Interior Designer and Architect.
Scrap that. In my head I already think I’m an interior designer, but in that zone I become an artist who’s sensitive about her stuff. You won’t catch me designing for others yet, but if you hang around here long enough you’ll definitely see a LOT of spaces that inspire me. Because, duh. I’m already a designer you’d want to follow in my head. 🙂

Full disclosure, I am a recovering perfectionist.
So...when you work with me, you will complete your Clifton Strengths Assessment. Just for the sake of transparency, my top 5 strengths are:
1. Maximizer -People with this strength focus on strengths to stimulate excellence. They seek to transform something strong into something superb. It's a good thing I became a leadership coach, I found the right career path!
2. Futuristic-Individuals with the Futuristic theme are inspired by the future and what could be, and they energize others with their visions. Mentoring young women is another passion of mine!
3. Strategic-People with the Strategic theme excel at seeing patterns in complex scenarios and creating alternative ways to proceed. I love to share strategy through speaking and coaching.
4. Achiever-Individuals with the Achiever theme are driven by a constant need to accomplish things and take immense satisfaction in being busy and productive. My Mantra: I am a human BEING, not a human DOING! (But I do find JOY in my achievements!)
5. Command-Those with the Command theme have presence and are direct, decisive, and comfortable with confrontation if it leads to resolution. I am not intimidated to work with leaders, or have tough conversations that move us forward!

I enjoy spending quality time with my friends and family, being in beautiful places, and traveling.
​I am married to my best friend, have two amazing children, and 3 grandchildren! I have lived in 2 countries, visited more than 5 and plan to see at least 10 more in the next 5 years! I am a woman who lives by faith, and I am at peace when I am near bodies of water. I enjoy beauty in all of its forms; art, music, culture, nature, relationships...and don't forget wine! Did I mention that I live in close proximity to SoCal wine country? The views...ahhmazing! Cheers!
